KEPSA is working to support Small,and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) by increasing access to affordable and appropriate finance for their businesses, driving the change in behavior of entrepreneurs by equipping businesses with the knowledge and tools to attract and secure funding by aligning their operations, strategies, and financial practices with investor expectations. This is to be done through countrywide investor readiness capacity-building training that will enhance their ability to communicate and understand their accurate financial status, assess the current health and position of their business, assets compelling business plans, financial projections, and value propositions, boosting credibility and increasing their chances of securing commercial and/or impact investment. Ultimately, the training aims to foster long-term growth by preparing businesses to effectively manage capital and build strong relationships with investors.
It is in this regard that we are looking for experts who specialize and with expertise in the following areas; investor readiness, financial management (analysis and planning), investment ecosystem exposure, pitch and elevator preparations, business acumen/management, training and facilitation for business seeking funding, and stakeholder engagement (investors, funders, and financial institutions).
This primary role will involve delivering impactful training sessions, workshops, or programs and continuous improvement and modification of the training material to align with the target businesses, aimed at enhancing the knowledge, skills, and capabilities of SMEs.

The following qualifications and skills are required:
- Fully qualified in relevant areas crucial to MSMEs. (e.g. investor readiness, financial management (analysis and planning), investment ecosystem exposure, pitch and elevator preparations, business acumen/management, training and facilitation for business seeking funding, and stakeholder engagement (investors, funders, and financial institutions).
- A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics,entrepreneurship or related areas.
- Professional certificates that demonstrate expertise in finance and investment would also be considered.
- Minimum 5 years' working experience specifically with MSMEs, understanding their challenges and facilitating financial growth and improvement. In areas such as financial training, banking experience on a credit management or SME angle.
- Proven experience in investor relations, business/entrepreneurship insights and relations.
- Proven experience in conducting impactful training programs, workshops, or capacity-building programs targeting MSMEs in investment readiness and business incubation with practical exposure to investment processes and fundraising strategies.
- Good working proficiency in Microsoft tools and telecommunication applications.
- Good communication skills and the ability to engage diverse audiences effectively.
