Are you an ambitious Agri-SME?
KEPSA, in partnership with Aceli Africa, is pleased to invite you for a free agri-business Advance and Thrive Programme that will equip you with practical tools and resources to improve your business practices, become investor-ready, and access debt finance linkage support.
The programme will take place from May 30, 2024, in both virtual and in-person facilitator-led training sessions.
This programme is for:
- Agri-SMEs in Kenya interested in addressing gaps that hinder growth and access to debt finance
- The main participant and applicant must be the CEO, Managing Director, Owner, or Founder of the business and must be an active participant in the programme
- Other participant must be a senior leader in the business capable of supporting the implementation of key practices
- Revenue Profile: Generated an average revenue of Kes 3.9 million – Kes 33 million over the past 3 years (2021-2023)
- Years in Business: Operational for more than 2 years
- Employee Size: 2+ full-time employees
- Internet Enabled: Willing to work online – i.e. encouraged to have a smartphone/Internet connection to access online tools, courses, and online community
- Performance/ Data oriented: Willing to share performance/financial data as part of the financial goal tracking and analysis for finance readiness.

Your Learning Journey
Your business will be taken through 3 key phases over 3 months.
Phase 1- Strategic Business Planning and Coaching Support
Focus on strategic business planning – including business model interrogation, assessment of current business performance, key strategic activities for growth, business environment tools, and pitching practice.
Phase 2- Financial Analysis, Decision-Making, and Coaching Support

Review of existing financial records, and build and review a financial performance dashboard for your business.

Training on regular financial planning and analysis along with practical tools.

Understand and manage the drivers of profit in your business.

Map out strategies to improve profitability.
Phase 3: Accessing finance

Explore what debt finance providers look for when making a financing decision.
