The Sustainable Inclusive Business (SIB – Kenya), a knowledge centre under KEPSA is actively on the ground creating awareness on Circular Economy models, as well as learning from other players on best practices towards this timely transition from linear model to circular model.
Speaking at a plastics recycling workshop in Mombasa on 27th January 2022, organized by Rintz Industries, the SIB – Kenya Communication Officer Ms. Josephine Wawira gave great insights on public-private-community partnerships and the role of the Kenya Plastics Pact bringing all relevant stakeholders on the discussion table.
The event brought together participants from different organizations, Community-based organizations (CBOs) and the Mombasa County Government aiming to collectively find sustainable solutions to plastic waste management especially along the coast line of Kenya.
