NATIONAL ASSEMBLY LEADERSHIP RETREAT

KEPSA engaged the members of Parliament at the National Assembly Leadership Retreat that was led by the Speaker Rt. Hon. (Dr.) Moses Wetang'ula on 20th September 2023 in Mombasa. The forum focused on refining and enhancing the advancement of pro-business legislative agenda.
Eng. James Mwangi - KEPSA Director and Chairman of the Public-Private Dialogue and Thought Leadership Board Committee led the private sector discussions on the role of the legislature in competitiveness and economic growth.
Speaking at the event, Eng. Mwangi stated that Parliament plays a pivotal role in policy and legislative entrepreneurship, which is pivotal for improving the country’s ease of doing business, competitiveness, inclusive growth, and shared prosperity.
He called upon the members of Parliament through the National Dialogue committee, to align with the nation’s political, economic, and social realities even as they consider proposals from Kenyans.
