The Kenya Private Sector Alliance (KEPSA) led by Rose Mwaura, The Chief Operating Officer, hosted a significant dialogue with the Worlddidac Association delegation, led by Worlddidac President, Dr. Nader Imani. The discussions involved an array of ideas aimed at propelling Kenya’s Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) sector forward.
The agenda was carefully curated to address three critical areas of collaboration. The first area focused on match-making with companies affiliated with the Worlddidac Association. KEPSA is poised to receive a list of these entities, which will catalyze potential partnerships integral to educational transformation.
The second area of discussion was KEPSA’s prospective affiliate membership with the Worlddidac Association. This membership is anticipated to bring forth a multitude of benefits, and KEPSA is in anticipation of further details and a formal invitation. Such an affiliation is expected to bridge KEPSA to a global network of educational expertise.
The third area involved the German model of inter-company education centers, a paradigm of educational excellence. KEPSA awaits insightful information on this model, along with details on the proposed European trade delegation visit. This initiative promises to imbue the Kenyan educational framework with innovative practices.
KEPSA now stands at the cusp of a promising partnership with the Worlddidac Association. The discussions have laid the foundation for initiatives that will not only enhance skills but also empower the Kenyan workforce. The alliance now looks forward to the detailed proposals and formal communications that will crystallize these collaborative efforts.
