KEPSA Business Hub Manager, Mr Timothy Odongo participated in a panel discussion held during the Manufacturing Indaba on 25th October 2023 at the Sandton Convention Centre in Johannesburg, South Africa.
Themed: ‘The Experiential Era: From Outputs to Outcome,’ the Manufacturing Indaba panel was moderated by Ms. Ameen: Kearney. The other panelists included; Ms. Mmantlha Sankoloba - Botswana Exporters & Manufacturers Association (Botswana), Dr Johansein Rutaihwa - SADC (Botswana), Mr. Eustace Mashimbye - Proudly South African, and Ms. Litta Kutta - Land and Agricultural Development Bank of South Africa.
The conference provided a platform to engage and discuss the latest global and local manufacturing trends using one point of entry. This annual event is hosted to empower members of Sub-Saharan Africa’s promising manufacturing community to identify global trends; keep abreast with global competition; embrace digital transformation; cultivate a skilled workforce; enable black industrialist collaboration and acquire insight into what incentives are available to better empower their businesses in the new era impacted by COVID-19. These discussions pave the way for a more equitable, competitive and successful manufacturing industry and economy as a whole.
