KEPSA FOUNDATION MEETS THE ROYAL DANISH EMBASSY TO EXPLORE COLLABORATION IN SOCIO-ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT

On 30th July 2024, KEPSA Foundation Executive Director Ms. Gloria Ndekei held a meeting with the Royal Danish Representatives led by Head of Regional Refugees & Humanitarian, Ms. Marie My Larsen, accompanied by Danida Business Coordinator Ms. Elma Adwa and Programme Officer Mr. Charles Wasike. Ms. Ndekei was accompanied by the Foundation Management team, including Ms. Caroline Kawira and Ms. Susan Ng’ang’a. The meeting, which was held at the Royal Danish Embassy, aimed at exploring potential collaboration areas towards the country's socio-economic development for a sustainable future.
Discussions focused on exploring areas of collaboration around initiatives aimed at mutually strengthening the environmental and governance priority areas of both organizations, specifically through a market-led approach. The discussion further recommended leveraging the Foundation’s value proposition by engaging the private sector membership to address imminent gaps under the "do no harm" principle towards sustainable practices that adhere to principles of responsible investment.
The teams agreed on continued engagement to realize innovative approaches for ensuring a sustainable future.
