KEPSA FOUNDATION MEETING WITH FRENCH DEVELOPMENT AGENCY

On 23rd July 2024, the KEPSA Foundation Executive Director, Ms. Gloria Ndekei, met with the French Development Agency (AFD) Kenya Director, Mr. Bertrand Willocquet. Mr. Willocquet was accompanied by Deputy Director Ms. Anthea Manasseh, Social Sector Program Manager Mr. Loran Meme, and Proparco East Africa Regional Head, Ms. Audrey Maignan. The meeting, held at the AFD Nairobi Offices, sought to explore areas of collaboration toward the socio-economic development of the country for a sustainable future.
Discussions focused on initiatives to strengthen the capacities of women and youth in entrepreneurship and employability, including the most vulnerable communities, by supporting the development and strengthening of product value chains to the last mile. Additionally, the meeting addressed issues of governance, the enhancement of community engagement, and the need to leverage innovative approaches in all sectors to ensure a sustainable future. The team agreed to further explore and engage in the areas of collaboration identified.
