KEPSA FOUNDATION EXPLORES PARTNERSHIP WITH THE EMBASSY OF PORTUGAL IN KENYA

On 23rd August 2024, KEPSA Foundation Executive Director, Ms. Gloria Ndekei met with the Ambassador of Portugal in Kenya Her Excellency Ana Filomena Rocha at the Embassy of Portugal Offices in Nairobi with an aim to explore areas of synergies for potential partnerships in advancing the key socio-economic development of Kenya. Ms. Ndekei highlighted the priorities of KEPSA Foundation which are underpinned on key principles of responsible investments, Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG).
Ms. Ndekei was accompanied by KEPSA Foundation teams; Ms. Caroline Kawira and Ms. Susan Ng’ang’a.
The discussion centred on the shared priorities of both organizations, including the empowerment of women and vulnerable communities in employability and entrepreneurship, disaster response, and the promotion of sustainable environmental and conservation practices. These collaborative efforts are vital as both organizations work to positively impact the lives of vulnerable communities. The foundation also emphasizes governance as a key area of focus.
Ambassador Rocha expressed her commitment to collaborate with the KEPSA Foundation through the embassy's various programs.
