KEPSA FOUNDATION-CIPE DEBRIEF ON THE BRIBERY ACT

KEPSA Foundation and the Center for International Private Enterprise (CIPE) held a debrief meeting on 17th May 2023 at the KEPSA offices to discuss on the progress of the Bribery Act project, incidental and upcoming projects thereto.
CIPE was represented by Mr. Ben Kiragu, CIPE Country Director, Kenya; Ms. Lola Adekanye, Program Director, Africa; Ms. Imaobong Akpan-Ita, Associate Program Officer; and Ms. Sandra Muchiri, Finance and Operations while KEPSA Foundation was led by the Executive Director, Ms. Gloria Ndekei.
It was agreed as follows:
- Need for interviewing, an Executive of an MSME that supports compliance, in addition to the 4 educative videos of the Bribery Act project
- Private sector members to be sensitized on how to use Ethics 1st as a governance tool.
- KEPSA Foundation to identify and train change agents to become champions for accountability, governance and integrity through a Corporate Integrity Program.
- Beneficial Ownership Transparency (BOT) to guide the next partnership between KEPSA Foundation and CIPE
KEPSA Foundation and CIPE will keep forging efficient partnerships to realize both organization’s objectives.
