KEPSA ECONOMIC DIPLOMACY SECTOR BOARD HOLDS A MINISTERIAL STAKEHOLDER FORUM WITH THE CABINET SECRETARY FOR FOREIGN AND DIASPORA AFFAIRS

On the 23rd of March 2023, the KEPSA Economic Diplomacy Sector Board, led by Mr Darren Gillen, Director of Foreign Investments; Mr James Mureu, Sector Board Chair and Ms Angela Ng’ang’a, Sector Board Vice Chair, held a Ministerial Stakeholder Forum (MSF) with Dr Alfred Mutua, Cabinet Secretary for Foreign and Diaspora Affairs at the Ministry offices.
In his remarks, Mr Mureu introduced KEPSA and the sector board to the Cabinet Secretary as well as shared areas of collaboration between the sector board and the Ministry. He also underscored the need to have regular engagements through the MSF framework towards creating an enabling business environment.
Dr. Alfred Mutua, on his part, welcomed the KEPSA team noting that he has had a cordial working relationship with KEPSA over the year, from President Kibaki’s administration to the years he served as governor of Machakos County. The Cabinet Secretary reiterated the need to continue working together for the betterment of the country.
The sector board took up the challenge posed by the Cabinet Secretary and vowed to embrace regular meetings toward delivering upon its mandate.
