KEPSA CEO MEETS SWITZERLAND AMBASSADOR TO KENYA ON TRADE AND INVESTMENT COOPERATION

KEPSA CEO Ms Carole Kariuki met with H.E Valentin Zellweger, Ambassador of Switzerland to Kenya on 14th February 2023 at the Embassy of Switzerland. The meeting was a follow-up to a joint virtual forum that was held in December of 2022. The Ambassador was accompanied by Ms Manuela Leimgruber, Deputy Head of Mission together with Ms Mahvish Malik, Trade Officer.
KEPSA has had a strong and fruitful collaboration with the Embassy whereby the two jointly held a virtual business forum with Swiss companies on the 1st of December 2022. This engagement happened after the Switzerland Global Enterprise’s (S-GE) fact-finding mission to Kenya in May 2022 which highlighted the numerous investment opportunities that exist in clean technology.
In today’s meeting, the Embassy commended KEPSA for its excellent cooperation and for being a valued partner in facilitating trade and investment between Kenya and Switzerland. The meeting also deliberated on the upcoming panel discussion on cleantech that KEPSA will be part of.
KEPSA and the Switzerland Embassy are also planning to jointly host a Swiss business delegation in March 2023 that will be led by the Switzerland State Secretary Hon. Helene Budliger Artieda.
