On 24th February 2025, Ms Carol Warui - KEPSA Sports, Youth Affairs & Creative Economy Sector Board Chair, who also serves on the National Youth Advisory Board, together with Ms Gloria Wawira - National Youth Council CEO, met with Mr Ismail Maalim Madey - Principal Secretary for Youth Affairs and Creative Economy. The meeting discussed strategies to enhance youth empowerment and development, focusing on initiatives that align with both the private sector and government objectives.
A key topic of conversation was the upcoming elections of the National Youth Council, with both parties emphasizing the importance of a robust, youth-led governance structure to represent and advocate for the aspirations of young people across the country.
