KEPSA AND LOTUS HOST A TRAINING SESSION ON BUILDING A BETTER FINANCIAL FUTURE

On 24th May 2023, KEPSA in partnership with Lotus organized an SME masterclass training session on 'Building a better financial future'. The session was tailored around a deep exposé on the new finance bill and various clauses that will affect SMEs, how they carry out business and was conducted by Ms Nancy Mathenge, a partner at Kody Africa.
Lotus is a company that aims to simplify the day-to-day tasks of SMEs by providing them with an all-in-one financial product that helps them to succeed. It is on a mission to make financial solutions more accessible to SMEs in Kenya.
The highly interactive session provided an opportunity where SMEs got to engage and also raise questions they had on the uncertainty brought about by the Finance Bill.
KEPSA was represented by Mr Harrison Ngatia, Head of Projects and SME. He gave an insight into the KEPSA initiatives geared towards promoting the growth of SMEs and improving their business environment.
The Lotus was led by Patrick Russel - Head of Growth at Koa, as well as Delila Kidanu and Alex's Roman both Co-founders at Koa Technology.
