On 23rd January 2025, Kenya Private Sector Alliance (KEPSA) and Kenya Investment Authority (KenInvest) agreed to establish a collaborative partnership aimed at significantly improving Kenya's business environment. This strategic partnership will leverage key government agencies and private sector stakeholders to streamline investment processes, jointly advocate for business-friendly policies, and promote Kenya as a premier investment destination.
KEPSA was led by the CEO Ms. Carole Kariuki, Vice Chair Ms Brenda Mbathi and Chair of the Economic Diplomacy Sector Board Mr. James Mureu. The KenInvest team was led by the CEO Mr. John Mwendwa in a meeting that was held at KenInvest offices in Nairobi.
This initiative between the two organisations acknowledges the vital role of a thriving private sector in accelerating economic growth and job creation. It aims to cultivate stronger partnerships between public and private entities, fostering a mutually beneficial approach.
