KENYA-SAUDI ARABIA BUSINESS FORUM

KEPSA participated in the Kenya-Saudi Arabia Business Forum hosted by the Ministry of Investment, Trade & Industry in collaboration with Kenya Investment Authority (KenInvest) on July 12, 2023. The forum sought to strengthen the partnership between Kenya and Saudi Arabia, increasing trade and investment opportunities, and foster economic collaboration that will lead to mutual learning, international joint ventures, new business development and a deeper connection between Kenya and Saudi Arabia in business.
The meeting enabled discussions on tapping into the workforce available in Kenya especially on skilled labour on areas of Agriculture, Engineering, Health among other sectors to provide required Labour skills in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The Saudi government committed to also invest in the country to boost employment as well as Kenya has a highly educated and ethnical workforce.
Kenya signed a memorandum of understanding with Human Resources ARCO Company of Saudi Arabia, securing 10,000 job opportunities for Kenyans, during the high-level ministerial meeting between Trade CS Hon. Moses Kuria & the Head of the delegation from the KSA, H.E Khalid A. Al-Falih, and Labour CS Hon. Florence Bore.
