UNLOCKING SME POTENTIAL: JIINUE GROWTH PROGRAM'S MILESTONES IN TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE AND FUNDING SUPPORT

We are excited to share with you the latest updates on the incredible progress of the Jiinue Growth Program, supported by the Mastercard Foundation. As part of our ongoing commitment to empowering small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), the program has continued to provide affordable financing and invaluable training to ensure that businesses not only receive the support they need but also grow sustainably.
Impactful Funding So Far:
The Jiinue Growth Program has made significant strides in funding businesses across the country. To date, we have committed:

127 loans to SMEs valued at KES 211 million

41,272 micro-loans to MSMEs valued at KES 1.03 billion
These figures demonstrate our dedication to fueling the growth of Kenyan businesses and enhancing the overall economy by empowering entrepreneurs like you.
Upcoming Funding:
In addition to the already disbursed funds, 25 loans valued at KES 60 million are pending disbursement. The program continues to attract a high level of interest, with more entrepreneurs applying and benefiting from this unique opportunity for growth.
Training and Capacity Building
At the Jiinue Growth Program, we understand that funding alone is not enough. That’s why we’ve integrated investor readiness training and capacity-building workshops to equip SMEs with the skills they need to effectively manage their funds and scale their businesses. However, it’s important to note that while these trainings are essential for preparation, they do not guarantee loan approval. Our program's selection criteria ensure that loans are directed toward businesses that meet the requirements and demonstrate strong potential for repayment.
