KEPSA TO RENEW ITS MOU WITH EMBASSY OF FINLAND ON SOCIO-ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT

On 3rd August 2022, Ms Carole Kariuki - KEPSA CEO, Dr Ehud Gachugu - Project Director, Ajira Digital and Youth Employment Program at KEPSA and Mr Timothy Odongo - KEPSA Business Hub Manager, had a working lunch meeting with Amb Pirkka Tapiola - Ambassador of Finland to Kenya. Amb Tapiola was joined by Mr Otto Stenius - Deputy Head of Mission; Mr Matts Weurlander - Counsellor Skills Development and Job Creation from the Embassy of Finland in Kenya.
The meeting sought to build on the longstanding partnership between KEPSA and the Embassy of Finland in Kenya. Ms Kariuki and Amb Tapiola agreed to enhance the mutual collaboration as well as lay the framework to renew the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Embassy and KEPSA that will define mutual areas of future collaboration.
KEPSA previously signed an MoU with the Embassy of Finland in Kenya in 2018 to broadly purposed to provide a general framework for and to facilitate cooperation towards promoting the economic and social development of Kenya through KEPSA and enhance the trade relations between Kenya and Finland.
