On 6th April 2023, KEPSA, led by the Deputy CEO Mr Victor Ogalo together with the Head of Projects and SME Development Mr Harrison Ngatia hosted representatives of 4G Capital - Ms Jackline Ndigwa and Ms Roseline Masila to discuss potential partnerships between KEPSA and 4G Capital and to explore opportunities for collaboration and growth. The two organizations aim to work together to support the growth of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) in Kenya.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed various areas of collaboration that could benefit SMEs in Kenya. The meeting agreed that 4G Capital could offer its innovative financing solutions and collaborate with KEPSA to provide capacity-building and training programs to help SMEs develop sustainably.
Additionally, the two organizations agreed to collaborate on advocacy efforts to create a more conducive business environment and work together on market linkages and matchmaking events to expand the customer base of SMEs.
The meeting was fruitful in identifying multiple areas of collaboration, with both organizations agreeing to further explore these areas of collaboration and develop concrete plans to support Kenyan SMEs. As a way forward, the meeting agreed to collaborate by leveraging their strengths, and implementing joint marketing and outreach efforts while holding follow-up meetings to review the progress.
