With the harsh reality of climate change shocks that continue to impact humanity every day, there’s a greater need to have ambitious and immediate climate action to safeguard the well-being of the planet. The partnership between the private sector, public sector and development partners in the climate agenda should be strengthened even more.

She also mentioned that KEPSA had established the Climate Business Information Network - Kenya (CBIN-K), a platform that aims to build technical capacity of business climate science to support businesses in prioritising and integrating climate change in their value chains.
The Danish Ambassador noted that Africa Climate Action Summit is a key event for African countries to agree on a declaration ahead of the 2023 Conference of the Parties of the United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP28). He said it also presents a chance to shift perspectives of Kenya as a nation and the whole of the African continent as a home for new green industries in like clean energy, building and carbon removal.
