KEPSA CEO Ms Carole Kariuki met with the leadership of the Operations Management Society of Kenya (OMSK), led by the Chairperson Prof. James Njihia on 1st December 2022 at the KEPSA offices. The main agenda of the meeting was to deliberate on how to establish a partnership between KEPSA and OMSK.
Prof. Njihia was accompanied by Mr Stanley Mwawasi - Vice Chairperson, Ms Zipporah Kiruthu – Secretary, Mr Garvin Missiani - Committee member and Mr Daniel Kanyi - Committee member. Also present was Ms Sophie Wamalwa – KEPSA HR & Executive Officer.
OMSK seeks to partner with KEPSA in advancing the use of operations management tools and techniques for; efficiency, quality, continuous improvement and competitiveness of the private sector organizations. This will be attained by creating awareness of the consumers and private sector members through training sessions to ensure that all the processes within the value chain are optimized to achieve the four focus areas.
OMSK is a Kenyan network of academics and practitioners who have a common interest in the continuing development of operations management.
