KEPSA CEO MEETS FINNISH PERMANENT STATE SECRETARY

On 31st January 2020, KEPSA CEO, Ms. Carole Karuga, met with the Finnish Permanent State Secretary, Mr. Matti Anttonen and Under-Secretary (Vice-Minister) of Foreign Trade, Ms. Nina Vaskinlahti at the Radisson Blu Hotel. The meeting which was hosted by the Finnish Ambassador to Kenya, H.E Erick Lundeburg and his Deputy, Mr. Ramses Malaty, was also attended by TMEA CEO, Mr. Frank Matsaert.

The discussions focussed on the business environment in Kenya and East Africa, regional integration and African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA), and opportunities for partnerships with Finland.

KEPSA and the Embassy of Finland have signed a memorandum of understanding to promote both Kenya’s and Finland’s interests with regards to growing trade and investments.
