KEPSA CEO MEETS EU ADVISOR ON IMPACT OF CORONAVIRUS ON KENYAN ECONOMY

On 17th March 2020, KEPSA CEO, Ms. Carole Karuga, met with the Trade Advisor at Delegation of the European Union (EU) to the Republic of Kenya, Mr. Martijn Boelen. The main agenda of the meeting was to discuss the impact of Covid-19 (Coronavirus) on the Kenyan economy.

Mr. Boelen requested for the meeting following the survey KEPSA conducted to assess the impact of the Coronavirus on the Kenyan business environment.

The Delegation, which has the status of a diplomatic mission, officially represents the EU in Kenya. It promotes the EU’s values and interests, monitors the political, economic and commercial situation in the country and the region, oversees the various forms of cooperation between the EU and Kenya, and provides information about the EU’s relations with Kenya.
