KEPSA AND JETRO COMMITS TO ESTABLISH A PARTNERSHIP TO SPUR TRADE BETWEEN KENYAN AND JAPANESE COMPANIES

On 17th February 2021, KEPSA CEO, Ms. Carole Kariuki Karuga met the Executive Director at Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO), Mr. Sotaro Nishikawa at the KEPSA offices in Nairobi.

The meeting discussed ways of strengthening economic ties between Kenya and Japan. Mr. Nishikawa expressed JETRO’s commitment to support the government’s Big 4 Agenda while establishing a partnership with KEPSA to enable business opportunities between Japanese companies and the Kenyan Business Community. The meeting also deliberated on ways to increase Kenya’s industrial competitiveness through linking Kenyan companies with their Japanese counterparts.

KEPSA will be partnering with JETRO through a Business Matching and Networking event in Nairobi later in the year.
