On 5th March 2020, KEPSA Foundation Trustee and Gender Advisor, Ms. Gloria Ndekei led the first Focus Group Discussion with Women in Business and EWIB Associations on Market Assessment for the Road to Growth Program in Kenya at the KEPSA offices.  This assessment is by Cherie Blair Foundation for Women (CBF4W) in conjunction with Gender Research Alliance.

CBF4W focuses on delivering training, facilitating mentorship and knowledge sharing; opening doors for financing, markets & networks and use technology and pressing for change to stop women being held back.

CBF4W has impacted nearly 150,000 women in over 100 countries to ensure that businesses flourish, communities prosper, economies grow and attitude shifts.

The second Focus Group Discussion was held on 11th March 2020. Participants in the discussion included chairpersons of Kenya Association of Women in Tourism (KAWT), Organization of Women in International Trade (OWIT), National Association of Women Exporters in Commercial Craft (NAWECC), Kenya Business Women and Mentors and WEMACO.  Also present included Africa Women Agribusiness Network (AWAN) Vice Chairperson; CEOs of Retail Trade Association of Kenya (RETRAK), Timeless Women and Cooperative of Women Weavers; and representatives of Young Women in Academia and Chartered Institute of Arbitrators among others.

Gender Research Alliance focuses on providing quality research and evaluation services that focus on private sector development and social inclusion of women and girls.
