KEPSA CEO RECEIVES A GLOBAL FEMALE LEADERSHIP IMPACT AWARD

KEPSA CEO Ms. Carole Kariuki has been awarded with a Center for Economic & Leadership Development (CELD) Global Female Leadership Impact Award and has also been inducted into the Global Women Leaders Hall of Fame (GWLHOF). The award was presented to her by His Highness Sheikh Juma Bin Maktoum Juma Al Maktoum during the 5th edition of the South America-Africa-Middle East- Asia Women Summit (SAMEAWS) held on 14th December 2017 in Dubai-UAE 2017.

She was awarded for her demonstration of innovation, leadership, talent, a strong sense of self-worth and discipline. The board also considered her successes in various leadership positions and her exemplary reforms as CEO of KEPSA and on the boards of multinational organizations, she has served as a thought leader making inroads for girls and women in Africa.

Ms. Kariuki has also been listed in the Amazons Watch top 100 most influential women in emerging economies to watch in 2018.
